1938 In Downtown
Las Vegas a man from Milwaukee operated a sheet metal fabrication
shop in a corner of O.K. Plumbing and Heating. He later moved his
operations to 1030 South Main Street and named it after himself
– calling it Emil M. Pahor, Sheet Metal. In 1966 he changed
the name to Emil M. Pahor Air Conditioning Contractors after adding
air conditioning services to his operation.
Building on the reputation of quality and service
after more than two decades later in 1981 his son Robert B. Pahor
purchased the company calling it Pahor Air Conditioning, Inc. located
at 2620 Western Avenue. The company had come a long way and had
eventually out- grown their current location. In 1998 the company
was moved to the newly designed facility at 5080 S. Cameron. This
23,500 square-foot two-story building now housed a fabrication shop,
shop workers, and CAD computers.
In the decades that followed, the company grew into
a regional mechanical contracting firm. Although the company increased
in size and scope of services through the years, our commitment
to our core values has remained. We believe that this commitment
has been foundational to our success.
In 2000, Pahor Air Conditioning joined forces with MMC Corporation
to become part of one of the top ten Mechanical contractors in the
United States. Pahor Mechanical Contractors serves Nevada locations.
However, we are able to serve clients throughout the continental
United States by combining forces with our related companies.
